New Season Foods (www.newseasonfoods.com/) is a food processor producing custom ingredients that are sold to other food manufacturers located primarily in Japan and Asia. The company’s leading product is drum-dried sweet corn powder.

Mark joined the company as CEO in 1994 and he acquired the company in 1998.

Mark also owns and operates the Grove Commerce Center in Forest Grove. The industrial park is home to food processing and technology related firms as well as regional manufacturing and service businesses.

Mark has 30 years of experience in the food industry, having managed marketing and sales for several national brands including McCormick spices and seasonings, Cake Mate cake decorating products, David sunflower seed snacks, Arrowhead water and Knott’s Berry Farm jams and preserves.

Mark received a B.S. in finance and international business from the University of Oregon and an MBA from the University of Southern California. He also graduated from Nyenrode University in The Netherlands.

He currently serves as past chairman and executive committee member of Northwest Food Processors Association and executive committee member and board director for of TOC Management (Timber Operators Council). He previously served on the board of directors of the American Frozen Food Institute and on the executive committee of the Oregon Food Processors Council.

Mark and his wife, Katherine, have two daughters and live in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
