A little bit about Footnotes


Welcome to Footnotes Dance Studio, a center for exploration and self-discovery. Footnotes Dance Studio opened its doors in 1991 and has been dedicated to excellence in the training of Dance and Exercise.

Students studying dance have enjoyed classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Folk, Ballroom and even Hip Hop. Students of Exercise trained in Yoga, Pilates, Body Evolution, Aerobics and Weight Training. As time has gone on it has become clear that dance and exercise are surprisingly similar art forms. Both train the body for ease and efficiency, both require focus and dedication and both result in healthy, agile and confident bodies.

Over the years the landscape of Footnotes has expanded to include programs of a holistic nature. These programs provide a platform for teachers and students on a journey of self discovery to sample and share alternative concepts that have in them the intention to inform, expand and liberate the body, mind and spirit.

Through this on going process we recognize that we are all teachers and simultaneously students of "Life" and the fine art of "Being". Please except our warm invitation to join us.
